Dr Geoffrey Broadhead is a medical retina specialist, oculoplastics specialist and general ophthalmologist. He completed ophthalmology training through the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital, and subsequently undertook subspeciality fellowship training in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Geoffrey undertook further subspecialty training in medical retina and inflammatory eye diseases (uveitis) at the world-famous National Eye Institute of the National Institutes of Health, the only Australian to do so. He subsequently also undertook subspecialist training in oculoplastics/general ophthalmology at the busy Royal Devon & Exeter Trust in the United Kingdom. Dr Broadhead is experienced in cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, intravitreal injections and laser therapies.

Geoffrey has published multiple journal articles at both national and international conferences, and continues to collaborate with international collleagues across the world as part of ongoing research studies and trials of new therapies.
